Hi all.
What portable device do I need to buy that gives me the same
flexibility as my windows xp media software to play mp3 files.
My present mp3 players require me to slog through every tune till I
reach the section I want to play whereas my windowsxp shows the cd
cover and then I can select the tune.
Will I have to get something as bulky as a palm pilot---fm radio would
be a desired option.

I haven't used "every" MP3 player but I certainly am wild about my e280.
Beside the obvious advantage of not being an Ipod, it has great features,
good support, and, as you requested, it works very well with MediaPlayer 11
and "sort of" ok with MusicMatch v.10. (It won't transfer an actual playlist
with MusicMatch, just the songs.) I haven't tried it with Winamp yet but
will test that later.

Suggest you avoid the Rhapsody software that SanDisk sends along with the
player--like all RealMedia software, it bites.

Placement of the controls is a little clunky compared to the lovely little
silver button on my old Rio Nitrus, but otherwise, it's a dream to use.
